Yeah, my adventure with Macs was a bit like yours. I wanted to find out how it feels to use a Mac and MacOS, so I bought a used iMac G3. Even though it's now obsolete, it still runs os X (which is unheard of for PC - imagine a 1998 PC running Vista). Now it makes a great replacement computer each time my PC is in maintenance :)

So it is finally official - the new iPhone 3G in Canada through both Bell as well as Fido http://www.apple.com/ca/iph... I suspect the data plans will still be too expensive for us casual users, but maybe it will start to drive the price down.

Interesting that you put Kompzer and NVU in the same list. They are essentially the same program. NVU is no longer being actively developed. The developers of Kompzer took the NVU source code and have been working on it under it's new name.

They are real... all part of Apple's "Think Different" campaign back in the late 90's. I have several of the original posters up in my office and you can still find them out on Ebay (although the prices for originals have gotten a bit ridiculous).
